Genevas Zermatt Modular Outdoor Sauna
A compact, architecturally resolved sauna that gives its most important room priority.
The Genevas Zermatt is a modular outdoor sauna for customers who want a substantial heat experience, a proper transition space and a coordinated architectural finish within a footprint that remains considered in the garden. Built in South Estonia from cross-laminated timber, it brings the sauna structure, heat source, ventilation, lighting and glazing together as one planned environment.

Compact Architecture. Generous Where It Matters.
The Zermatt occupies an external footprint of approximately 3,300 × 2,200 mm, or 7.25 m². Within that envelope, the sauna room itself measures approximately 2,080 × 1,920 mm and provides around 4.0 m² of dedicated heat space.
This is the defining Zermatt proposition: most of the available area is given to the sauna room, rather than corridors or secondary rooms, while a separate entrance and changing area still creates a practical threshold between garden and heat. You have somewhere to arrive, pause and leave footwear or robes before entering the main sauna room, without allowing the transition space to dominate the building.
South-Estonian CLT, Expressed Honestly.
Cross-laminated timber forms the architectural core of the Zermatt. The CLT construction gives the module its clean geometry and allows natural timber to remain central to the internal character, supported by natural wood wall panels and concealed electrical wiring.
Natural oil-wax finishes protect and enrich the visible timber without masking its grain. Thermo-alder is used for the sauna benches and floor grating, creating a clear material distinction between the structural shell and the surfaces used throughout the heat room. Final approved interior and exterior finishes are selected during the design process so the sauna can be coordinated with its setting.
A Considered Transition Into Heat.
The separate entrance and changing area gives the sauna ritual a beginning and an end. Inside the heat room, Stopsol windows open the interior towards the garden while retaining a darker architectural expression across the glazed elevations. The glazing, thermo-alder seating, natural timber surfaces and concealed lighting work together to create a calm, materially consistent room rather than a collection of disconnected components.
Interior and exterior lighting is included, alongside a Hessen ventilation system and a sauna-room drain with floor trap. These elements are planned with the structure from the outset, helping the finished building support day-to-day use, airing, drainage and the practical transition between sessions.
Choose Your Heat Experience.
Electric heat
The electric route uses a HUUM HIVE Mini heater with UKU controls. It suits projects where a suitable electrical supply can be confirmed and where the customer prefers a controlled electric heat source. Final heater sizing, cable route, protective devices and connection requirements must be agreed against the completed room and property supply.
Wood-fired heat
The wood-fired route uses a HUUM HIVE 13 heater with chimney. It creates a fire-led sauna experience but requires appropriate chimney planning, heat shielding, clearances and site review. Electric and wood-fired heat are alternative technical routes, not pre-priced variants in this draft; the correct package is confirmed during consultation.

Configured Around Your Project.
The included specification establishes the architectural and technical foundation. Heater route, approved finishes, compatible glazing choices and the delivery format are then confirmed around the site. These choices are handled through consultation rather than presented as off-the-shelf priced variants until compatibility and commercial parity have been verified.
1. Review the site
Confirm the proposed location, foundation zone, delivery route, working space and any lifting or access constraints.
2. Confirm heat and services
Select electric or wood-fired heat and coordinate the relevant electrical, chimney, ventilation and drainage requirements.
3. Select the finish and supply route
Choose from approved finishes and agree whether pre-assembled or flat-pack supply is the appropriate route for the property and installation plan.
4. Define the project scope
Agree what is included in delivery, groundwork, installation, service connections, timber protection and any surrounding wellness works before the order is finalised.
From Sauna Module to Finished KeiCo Wellness Space.
KeiCo can coordinate the wider route from product selection to a completed setting through one accountable team. Depending on the agreed quotation, that may include site planning, heater specification, foundation coordination, delivery and access planning, installation, electrical coordination, timber and finish protection, adjacent recovery integration and ongoing aftercare.
Those project services are scoped separately where applicable, so the proposal reflects the property rather than relying on generic installation assumptions. The Zermatt is supported by a two-year manufacturer warranty for qualifying manufacturing defects under normal residential use, with the full Genevas terms governing coverage and claim responsibilities.
Plan Your Zermatt With KeiCo.
Book a design consultation to review the space, access, preferred heat source, finish direction and required level of project support. From there, KeiCo can turn the modular sauna specification into a coordinated proposal for delivery, installation and the wider garden wellness setting.
