The glow of Himalayan salt, framed in glass

Light brings out the natural variations within the salt brickwork: pale mineral tones, deeper amber and soft rose colours that differ from one brick to the next. Choose an enveloping salt-lined interior or selected feature walls, with the coverage and lighting developed together.

The black-framed glass frontage connects the room visually with the surrounding space and complements KeiCo sauna designs. Door position, glazing, ceiling finishes and seating are planned as one composition, so the salt room feels considered within your home or wider wellness project.

A loose salt floor introduces a different texture beneath the seating. Grain size, depth, containment and an appropriate access route are agreed during design, alongside cleaning and maintenance requirements.

Gentle warmth, considered from the start

If you would like a heated room, include it in your initial brief. We can explore discreet radiant heating as part of the design, with the aim of providing comfortable, even warmth and keeping the floor area clear.

The heating approach, controls and suitability are assessed against the room size, glass frontage, construction and salt finishes. Heating is included only when the selected system and installation are expressly listed in your quotation. Temperature settings and operating guidance are agreed with the final specification.

Build Your KeiCo Wellness Space

Your salt room can stand alone or sit alongside a sauna, changing area or other wellness facilities. Planning the wider space together helps coordinate access, visual continuity and building services, while giving each room the conditions it needs.

The salt room is designed as a dry interior. Where neighbouring spaces introduce moisture, the layout, separation, ventilation and environmental controls need particular attention.   3. Agree the project. Your proposal sets out the selected design, supply and installation responsibilities, price and programme.
  4. Prepare for handover. Access, site readiness, fitting and care requirements are coordinated around the agreed scope.

Your room, individually specified

Your written quotation identifies the agreed scope for salt brickwork and its supporting system, back-lighting, flooring, glazing, seating, selected heating and controls, delivery and installation. Building alterations, electrical work, ventilation and additional equipment are included only where expressly listed.

Preparation, timing and care

Room dimensions, seating capacity, structural suitability, floor loading, moisture conditions, ventilation, electrical provision and maintenance access are assessed during design. Preparatory work should follow the agreed project drawings and site requirements.

The programme depends on the design, materials, site readiness and installation schedule. Care instructions, warranty responsibilities and any agreed ongoing support form part of the final project documentation.

How much space do I need for a bespoke salt room?
There is no fixed room size or standard capacity. The layout is developed around the available space, seating, circulation and intended use. Send us approximate dimensions, photographs or plans and the number of people you would like to accommodate so we can assess the brief.
Can my salt room include gentle heating?
Gentle ambient heating can be considered as part of your bespoke design. A discreet radiant system may suit the room, subject to assessment of its size, glazing, salt finishes, ventilation and manufacturer requirements. Heating, controls and installation are included only when listed in your quotation; the final temperature settings and operating guidance are agreed with the specification.
What wellbeing experience does a salt room offer?
The focus is on comfort and relaxation: softly illuminated salt walls, seating selected for resting, and a dedicated setting for quiet time, meditation or mindful breathing. Optional gentle heating can be explored in your design brief. Illuminated salt walls and flooring are distinct from active dry-salt halotherapy, which uses separate aerosol equipment. A halogenerator is not included, and no medical or disease-treatment benefit is claimed for this room.
Can an existing room be converted, and what preparation is needed?
An existing room can be considered, subject to assessment. Its structure, floor loading, moisture conditions, ventilation, electrical supply, access and intended use all affect the design. Preparatory work should follow the agreed project drawings and requirements rather than the appearance or layout of a reference photograph.
How long does design and installation take?
The programme is agreed for each project once the design, material availability, site readiness and installation scope are established. Share your preferred completion date at the enquiry stage. We will confirm the proposed sequence and timing before an order is agreed; this is not a stocked room with a standard dispatch time.
