In most UK cases, structures under 2.5m in height and not positioned at the front of the property fall under permitted development. However, always check with your local planning authority, especially in conservation or AONB areas. This model is 2.4m high and designed with UK regulations in mind.
Each retreat includes a glass-fronted sauna with changing area, optional under-bench LED lighting and full KC sauna accessory pack. Open shelter for a hot tub or ice plunge. The frame is built from 45mm Spruce, with impregnated foundation beams and self-adhesive roofing felt for protection.
Yes — the open terrace is designed to accommodate most standard-sized hot tubs or ice baths. You can also explore our KeiCo Cold Plunge and Hot Tub collections for a perfect fit. Drainage, access, and power for your tub should be planned in advance if adding your own.
The 45mm thick Spruce walls provide excellent natural insulation. You can customise your retreat with electric or wood-fired heaters, and add external wood treatment or roof insulation if needed. Keico have been fantastic to work with from our intitial enquiry to the team carrying out the instalaltion. We also recieved a champagne gift set to apologise for the slight delay which was very kind. We would not hesitate to reccomend Keico and have done just that!
Process with Keico was simple and straightforward. We needed to reduce the size of the retreat to fit and despite a slightly longer lead-time this was then made to order and recieved within the proposed time-frame.
